The work isn't quite done yet... Over the past months, field experience and direct customer feedback surfaced a number of additional improvements we felt were too important to leave out. So we made the call to take a little more time and get them right.

The release has moved from Spring 2026 to Summer 2026. We know waiting is frustrating, and we don't take that lightly. However, we'd rather ship a system we're fully confident in than rush something that falls short of what you deserve from a life saving device.

Here are the additional improvements we are working on right now:

 

• 🔔 Configurable Acoustic Warning System
  A new built-in buzzer system gives you audible alerts before vest inflation or when approaching a potentially hazardous situation. Warning behaviour and timing are fully customisable through the app, so the system adapts to your workflow, not the other way around.

• 🔌 Completely Redesigned Actuator Connector
  Saltwater is brutal on electronics and contacts. That's why we've completely re-engineered the actuator connector from the ground up. The sensitive gold spring contacts are now housed directly inside the actuator itself, meaning they are automatically renewed each time you replace the actuator. The result: dramatically improved corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. No extra steps required to replace the sensitive gold spring contacts.

• 🔵 New Blue LED Indicator
  The front indicator panel now features a third LED in blue alongside the existing red and green lights. We deliberately chose a three-LED system over a small LCD display. Given the compact form factor, harsh wet conditions and the unit's position below the chest, a LCD display simply wouldn't be legible when it matters most. Three LEDs with different colours deliver clear, at-a-glance status information even at a distance, underwater or in poor visibility.

• 📲 User-Updatable Firmware
  You can now update the SENS07 Inflator firmware yourself. No need to send the unit in for servicing.

• 🔧 Extended Service Interval
  The previous generation required a recommended 2-year service cycle to replace batteries, update software, and swap corroded spring contacts if needed. With the new generation, none of those three tasks are necessary anymore. From a purely technical standpoint, the new inflator requires no scheduled maintenance anymore.

 

That said, this is a life-saving safety device used in demanding environments. We still strongly recommend regular inspection of all components, especially the bladder and any parts subject to wear. Safety first, always!

Previously Announced Features,  A Quick Recap

 

• 🔋 Integrated Rechargeable Battery
  The new generation now features an integrated rechargeable battery, conveniently chargeable via USB connection. Under normal operating conditions, the system offers an exceptionally long battery life of approximately 3–6 months on a single charge.

• 📱 New SENS07 App
  The new inflator comes with a new app. The interaction has been improved and optical data transfer to the inflator is quicker. The old APP is not supported anymore.

• 🌐 App & Browser Configuration
  Beyond the SENS07 app, the inflator can now be configured through any standard web browser on Mac or any PC. No software installation required, fully platform-independent. This browser-based option is an optional complement to the app and will be available in autumn.
